I'm Kathleen Grace, an art-trained photographer. Art was my soul, photography my rock and roll, a phrase I've adopted after a friend described my work that way. I'd started painting later in life, though with photography, had my first camera at age six. I work at both, was trained formally through college learning and working in groups and individually with private mentors. My work has been exhibited in regional juried exhibitions receiving numerous awards and recognition.

Painting lends itself to a deeper exploration, creating soulful work, photography goes to outer sight and expression, both with meaning and depth, telling the story of place and time.
